                   Rain Go Away

Ok - I know everyone is tired of the rain - but at the Pleasantville Community Garden - WE LOVE IT!

This much needed rainy week will help our growing vegetables explode with goodness! We are just about done with our early peas and green beans are growing strong! Our tomato plants are in the 5-6 foot range and our squash and cukes are coming along nicely!

Stop by tomorrow from 10 - 11am to see what's growing and check out how this rain will help us grow more for those in need in Westchester!! Thanks for your support!

To date - we've donated nearly 7,000 pounds of fresh food to local organizations this year! Find out how you can be a part of this great work.
