Formation at St. John's

No matter our age, education, or life experience, we are always called into a deeper knowledge of the love of God — and there’s nothing better than journeying together to do so. These are a few of our current opportunities to connect with friends old and new, and to dig into ancient faith for modern life.

Sunday School

There’s always something fun happening at St. John’s! Kids of all ages are invited for drop off in Russell Hall at 9:45 a.m. three Sundays out of four. From there, they’ll start with simple worship in the Children’s Chapel and divide up for a bible lesson and activity. Contact the office to learn more or to register or click here to sign up as a volunteer! On the second Sunday of every month, kids and youth lead worship at the 10:00 a.m. service as choristers, acolytes, readers, intercessors, and more.

Confirmation and Catechumenate

Confirmations and Receptions into the Episcopal Church will be celebrated at the Cathedral of St. John the Divine in June 2026! These rites offer a unique opportunity for youth and adults to explore for themselves what the promises made at baptism mean and how to live as Christians today. We’ll meet monthly for popcorn, cocoa, and deep thoughts. Contact the office to get on board.
